WEBIt's the side view with the massive cgi wolf. It has digitigrade legs. This kind of seems to undermine the big reveal in the end when John asks Paul to stand up to his full height. Obviously, Paul doesn't have digitigrade legs and if he's on stilts in the wolf suit, he would need to be about 2 feet shorter than the wolf.

WEBMay 10, 2022 — Shit you're right. Too many werewolf movies. Wolf of Snow Hollow was like a watered-down version of Thunder Road, with the lead pretty much doing the exact same thing. It was great to see Forrester once again but he had like 5 lines. Thunder Road should be your next viewing!

WEBOct 9, 2020 — The main problem is I went into this expecting an actual werewolf monster movie, spent about 90% of the movie still thinking that it was, and the climactic payoff was an R rated Scooby Doo. I honestly wonder if they ran out of budget and changed the ending, or whether it was always written like this.

WEBThe Wolf of Snow Hollow is better and much clearer the second time around. That being said, I wish we had seen HOW the seam ripper got into the evidence. I’ve combed through the scenes again, but can’t seem to see it or the thread in any of the shots.

WEBOct 10, 2020 — It IS still a good movie with some great acting and camera work, but I can agree with the sentiment that I probably wouldn't have purchased it outright having known before hand. Going into it and spending 90% of the movie thinking it was a true werewolf movie made the ending jarring and I personally would have preferred it follow through.

WEBMay 3, 2022 — Fun movie and was entertaining on a variety of levels. I absolutely loved it when John Marshall (Jim Cummings) loses his shit during the movie: so damn funny and unsettling at the same time. This movie also uses its actors to further the quirkiness of the movie; almost like a Twin Peaks atmosphere and character development.

WEBFeb 8, 2021 — Personally, Snow Hollow feels more like a werewolf movie than most movies with actual werewolves. The dialogue felt fresh, Robert Forster killed it, especially in that "bullshit bullshit bullshit!" scene. Despite being a dark comedy, they took the alcohol seriously when needed.
