WEBIt's the side view with the massive cgi wolf. It has digitigrade legs. This kind of seems to undermine the big reveal in the end when John asks Paul to stand up to his full height. Obviously, Paul doesn't have digitigrade legs and if he's on stilts in the wolf suit, he would need to be about 2 feet shorter than the wolf.

WEBJan 8, 2023 · Your enjoyment of any of Jim Cumming's films (writer / director / lead actor) is 100% dependent on how much you like him and his idiosyncracies - his presence is overwhelming (but fwiw I think he's great). I 100% agree with OP. This was one of the worst films I've ever seen.

Good comedy, a good setting and tension/atmosphere, great acting by Forster and Cummings, really good story/parallels about recovery/addiction/parental relationships, and a super solid mystery theme/twist on the werewolf genre.

WEBDog Soldiers is the best Werewolf film made thus far. Viking Wolf is really good too. Cursed (2005) with Christina Ricci! Netflix: Love, Death and Robots Season 1 has a good werewolf episode called "Shape Shifters" about a team of werewolf soldiers in Afghanistan who fight a group of Afghan werewolves.
