DEFOREST, Wis. (WKOW) – A major data center proposal in DeForest sparked residents to start a petition demanding more transparency from village leaders.
Lake DeForest is a man-made lake created by impounding the Hackensack River and was designed specifically for use as a reservoir to serve the growing communities in Bergen County
The Village of DeForest system boasts 57 acres of community parkland, 30 acres of neighborhood parkland, and over 300 acres of conservancy. To that end, the village houses 15 developed parks and approximately 20+ miles of trail.
