The trail in July was very beautiful with wildflowers most of the way. The trail is 3 miles to the upper lake with a few steep inclines. The hike is not dangerous but a few of the inclines are tough…Full review by Derek F

Some snow on the highest peaks, not at the top where the lake is. No bears —high human and canine traffic this time of year. Wildflowers were beautiful
