I am planning on visiting Madeline Island next week for 4 days. There are currently no reservable campsites available at the state park for the days I will be visiting but I do see there are a few walkup sites. What are the chances of getting a walk up site on a Tuesday evening? Once checked into the park can the non reservable sites be reserved for a few days? What time does the office close and what happens if I get there after the office closes? Thanks!

We are in Bayfield now and went on a boat cruise. They are not allowing any camping on the islands right now and it may stay that way for the rest of summer.
