A very enjoyable visit. Not too many stairs to climb. Free clothing available for visitors to cover up as a mark of respect. Well maintained Buddha statue n a lovely setting . Full review by Anne I

This temple is unique and beautiful. It is filled with lovely distinctive sculptures. Definitely worth getting away from the beach for. Full review by ScottW007

Is there any taxi available from Big Budhha to Chewong area

Hey Yea there are taxis outside the temple itself and just ask for it to be on the meter you will probably pay about 250 baht on the meter to Chaweng beach!

Is the big Buddha in walking distance of other temples

Hi we didn't see any other temples around the area, Sorry I couldn't help any more

Are the steps very steep and unsuitable for people with arthritis

At the temple itself there is only around 10 steps up to the temple itself. The Big Buddha has a lot more. Everywhere else at the temple is flat.

we went mid morning. the monks will bless you as well
