Awesome beach! Plenty of parking, shaded areas to sit, restrooms were clean. Man made rock cove was wonderful for swimming--saw a lot of small fish as well as large colorful fish. Could have stayed …Full review by lisaG2652XD

Agree with PeterB8343. Cove is small. Might be good for new paddleboarder as little wave action but they would be going around in circles more or less. I don’t remember anything …

Agree with PeterB8343. Cove is small. Might be good for new paddleboarder as little wave action but they would be going around in circles more or less. I don’t remember anything posted against it. I think it was Kekaha that was very mild-on the west side by Koke’e road that was the calmest when we were there. Not as popular and fewer local attractions but calm surf and a long beach.

Snorkelling would be better on the south shore, near Poipu because the water is calmer on the south shore in the winter.
