What has happened to this venue? You have to have a (free) ticket where they “encouraged” a minimum £5 donation. The two exhibition’s open were both extra money to visit , and we found nothing to act…Full review by bigbikes

Yes free to donate if you like, some temporary exhibitions require an entrance fee

Would a 5 year old boy find it interesting?
A:
If its raining it will keep you dry for a couple of hours. Think it might be a bit boring for a 5 year old but its free and worth a look.

Would this be a suitable day out for a 18 month old?
A:
My opinion would also be a no I'm afraid. It's very educational and there is quite alot to read, not very visually stimulating. I would say probably suitable for age 4/5 upwards.
