Hi Donna, I read your review about the Tijuca Jeep Tour in Rio and that you liked it very much. I am heading to Rio in mid June and the Parque do Tijuca is definitely on my list. I was trying to find this tour that you mentioned but it also brings up the generic headline of "Tijuca Jeep Tours." Do you happen to still have any contact info for them? Many thanks in advance!! We used Passion Brazil ... excellent day and didn’t wait around. Our truck was on the same route as the others but there wasn’t any waiting around for them(we did the half day) plenty of sights and no excessive long stays anywhere, perfect to see the forest and sights. We also included the botanical gardens in the afternoon (same company) and it was a perfect fit. Collected at 8am from our hotel in the jeep and then got back around 4pm with a lunch break at botanical on arrival. morgane @ passionbrazil. com Email above ... I’m sure you can book it with them direct.

It is well worth a visit.
Q:
is there a regular bus from the town.
A:
Yes, but not very often. It's better to take a private car.

Hi, I want to do a hike in the forrest. Is it possible to do hikes alone or should I book a guided tour? If possible, can I go to waterfall and the highest point on the same day by foot? Thanks :)
