Hello! It's about 20 minutes from the old quarter. But it depends also on the traffic. You can get grab taxi which will cost about 4-5 usd or you can also use the Hanoi bus. For the bus, it will take at least an hour but it's cheaper. Hanoi bus is just 7,000 or 8,000 vnd. The exchange rate now is about 23,000 vnd for 1 usd. If you use the bus, use google maps to check the bus number and the nearest stop from where you are. It also indicates if you need to change bus and how many stops before you arrive in your destination. I hope it helps.
