A large semi hollow tower sporting excellent views of San Francisco, San Francisco Bay, the surrounding cityscape, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Full review by BrookeVCU

Coit Tower is located on the historic Telegraph Hill. It was a 10 minute scoot ($10) from the Ferry Building. The scooters are not powerful enough to climb the last 5 blocks, but you can aid the rideā€¦ Full review by HuskerTraveler2

Is it possible to go up to the tower peak by stairs, not by elevator? If yes, do I need to pay for that?

The only way is the elevator . But if you want steps, you could walk up the 483 steps from Filbert to get to the tower itself! We did it and we are 60+ . And yes, we were happy to see the ā€¦
