For Colorado I dont think east or west matters. The leaves start changing around mid to late September and completely gone by end of October. Aspins only grow in elevations of 5000 to …
For Colorado I dont think east or west matters. The leaves start changing around mid to late September and completely gone by end of October. Aspins only grow in elevations of 5000 to 12000 ft so you have to be in the mountains to see them. October to November down in the foothills.
My wife and I are going to Crested Butte in August. Due to the road repairs on Highway 50 we were thinking about using Kebler Pass to cut over to highway 133. We have an all wheel drive lexus RXF-350. Is the drive safe enough for this type of car? My wife will kill me if we mess her car up!! Thank you, Rick

I think it would be quite safe. It is dirt mostly with some paved areas. But it is well maintained and often used by cars that are not 4 or all wheel drive.

Aspen are not turning to yellow in that area on a large scale. Some scatterred hints. Good color change is likely 2 weeks off--last week of September. My best guess. You might call …
