I’m not sure about the snorkeling but I think I saw some people doing it. There were a lot of kids in the water, usually with parents, however. The waves don’t get super high but they’d probably need supervision. The sand is beautiful for building castles; if I was a kid, I’d spend hours playing in the sand.
