You could - it's only about 40 minutes drive - but organizing your transport would be your challenge. We rented a car for the day and used it to explore. You could get there by taxi, but …

You could - it's only about 40 minutes drive - but organizing your transport would be your challenge. We rented a car for the day and used it to explore. You could get there by taxi, but you'd need your taxi to wait or arrange for it to come back at a specific time, because it's on a really quiet road and you'd never get a ride back without prior arrangement. I don't know if there are any companies offering group excursions out there.
