Me and my family are from Canada so it’s extremely nice to see a part of our history in such a beautiful place. It wasn’t hard to take a train from Paris to Arras and then an uber to the memorial. Th…Full review by RJW2014

From what I recall, There are a few things you can purchase- like books- but not a big one at all. If you want something with amazing war memorabilia and an amazing museum- in addition to Vimy - not instead if it- I would recommend the Musee du Caen. It is incredible and worth at least 2-3 hours of your time. It also has a large gift shop with plenty of books, clothing, and other replica memorabilia.

Apologies for the delay in replying (an oversight, sorry). A couple of hours would probably suffice (2-3 hours). The guided tour of the tunnels and trenches takes about 30 minutes and they take place regularly throughout the day and are free. To walk to the beautiful memorial, spending some time there and back is probably about 45 minutes. There is a small but informative historical display in the reception area which is interesting to browse. It would probably rank highly on the list of sights to see on the Western Front for most Canadians I would imagine.
