Gabrielle is moving toward the north-northwest near 22 mph. An erratic northwestward to west-northwestward motion at a reduced forward speed is anticipated across the tropical and subtropical central Atlantic during the next few days.
The National Hurricane Center is now keeping an eye on two areas to watch in the Atlantic. Invest 92L, in the central Atlantic, continues to show signs of organization and will likely develop into a tropical depression and eventually Tropical Storm Gabrielle Tuesday or Wednesday.
