Google says its artificial intelligence chatbot Gemini will deliver up-to-date news from The Associated Press in the tech giant’s first such deal with a news publisher.

Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) said on Wednesday that it has signed a deal with the Associated Press to boost results in its Gemini app. As part of the deal, the AP will deliver a feed of "real-time" information to enhance what users look for in the Gemini app,

Google announced in a blog post that it is expanding its partnership with the news outlet to provide a “feed of real-time information” to the Gemini app. Going forward, Gemini will be able to reference AP’s stories when you ask about current events. “This will be particularly helpful to [Gemini app] users looking for up-to-date information.”
