Kurt Alan Rillema was sentenced to 10-15 years for a 1999 sexual assault at a Michigan golf course, identified by DNA technology.

Genetic genealogy testing of DNA evidence in separate sexual assault cases helped lead authorities to a suspect.

The 52-year-old man, convicted of sexually assaulting a woman at a Michigan course, is also accused of raping a woman at a Penn State University golf course.

The evidence also reportedly links him to another alleged sexual assault on the Penn State University golf course in 2000.
