Winds ease a bit today as clouds arrive. Accumulating light snow tonight into early tomorrow should bring a general coating to 2 inches within one county of the Beltway. After Saturday’s gusts, Sunday is gem-like with sun, milder air and calmer conditions.

WEEKEND It will be a perfect winter weekend in West Michigan with highs in the upper 20s and fairly light wind until later Sunday. Most of the lake-effect snow bands will wrap up Saturday morning.
