Rockford Police arrested Murphy Doss, 51, for allegedly shooting two men, one fatally, at a MaxMart on Friday night. Around 10:08 p.m., officials responded to the MaxMart at 922 Kilburn Avenue to find 34-year-old and 30-year-old victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to the Rockford Police Department, 51-year-old Murphy Doss of Rockford was arrested on murder charges, as well as charges for attempted murder and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon after a shooting Friday night on the city's west side.
