Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford was named first-team All-Pro over New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye amid a heated MVP race.

The MVP race between Maye and Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford got a big development on Saturday when the AP revealed its 2025 NFL All-Pro teams. Stafford was named to the first team, while Maye earned a spot on the second team.

With the NFL’s 2025 regular season officially in the rearview and the postseason now upon us, the Associated Press released its First- and Second-team All-Pro teams —and with it, has once again sparked debate on who will be named MVP.

Stafford received 31 first-place votes to Maye’s 18. The Patriots’ Marcus Jones earned All-Pro second-team honors as the punt returner.
