With 2025 underway, the NHL is celebrating the best of the past 25 years by revealing Quarter-Century Teams for each of the League's 32 franchises and the Arizona Coyotes. Each club will be represented by a First Team and Second Team of six players -- three forwards,

Three of Nashville’s first-team Quarter Century selections — Weber, Rinne and Josi — were drafted by the Predators. Weber played 11 of his 16 seasons with the Predators, collecting 443 points (166 goals, 277 assists) in 763 games here. He served as a captain from 2010 to 2016 before Nashville traded him to Montreal for P.K. Subban.

The NHL has released the San Jose Sharks Quarter Century Team, and I was chosen to participate in the voting process.

Now that we’re 25 years into the current millennium, the NHL is celebrating the top performers from each of the 32 franchises with a First Team and a Second Team of six players - three forwards, two defensemen and a goaltender - who played for the organization from Jan. 1, 2000 through New Year’s Eve of 2024.
