Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James doesn't seem to be letting his uncertain NBA future bother him while on vacation at a Bad Bunny concert.
Now, one of his former teammates has spoken out about James' future. Udonis Haslem, who played with James during his stint with the Miami Heat, made an appearance on " NBA Today" and revealed that he believes the all-time great could finish his career somewhere other than the Lakers.
League continues on Saturday, July 12 with No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks taking on No. 2 pick Dylan Harper and the San Antonio Spurs.
Cooper spent his entire NBA career with the Lakers, appearing in 873 regular-season games with the franchise. Though Cooper was mostly utilized in a reserve role, that didn’t stop him from being a key piece in a Lakers organization that won plenty of titles during the 1980s.
According to NBA insider Shams Charania of ESPN, LeBron James feels that the Los Angeles Lakers “are more in a futuristic mindset.” James, 40, wants to compete for a championship next season, but the Lakers haven’t made any title-making moves this offseason.
LeBron James doesn’t have a seat at the Lakers’ table anymore. According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne and Brian Windhorst, general manager Rob Pelinka and coach JJ Redick had a reservation at the famed Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood four days after the Lakers’ season ended — but only one Lakers superstar was in attendance. That was Luka Doncic.
A pair of former Kentucky basketball guards stole the spotlight on Friday night at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
