Netflix has unleashed a new rom-com that's got folks hankering for an Italian getaway, titled La Dolce Villa. La Dolce Villa premiered on the streaming platform on 13 February, just before Valentine's Day,

Scott Foley is well aware that people are buying homes in Italy to renovate them, and he’d liked to help. “Scott really is out here trying to get anybody to get a home so he can renovate it,” Maia Reficco, who shares the screen with Foley in the new Netflix film “La Dolce Vita,” told CNN. “He continues to pitch in left and right.”

The interior scenes inside the villa were filmed at Cinecittá Studios in Rome, aka the largest film studio in Italy, where directors from Martin Scorsese to Luca Guadagnino have filmed. Federico Fellini’s 1960 film, La Dolce Vita (which we assume the title of this movie is a reference to) was also filmed at Cinecittá Studios.
