Tim Stutzle scored and added an assist to keep his 11-game point streak alive, Brady Tkachuk and Shane Pinto returned to the lineup and scored, and the Ottawa Senators ended a five-game losing streak with a 5-3 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Saturday night.

The Sharks allowed consecutive goals to Brady Tkachuk, Stützle, and David Perron as their third-period foibles continued in what became their eighth straight loss. Perron’s goal at the 8:31 mark of the third period, which became the game-winner, came after the Sharks made a bad line change.

Tkachuk, a left wing, missed two games with a lower-body injury sustained during the 4 Nations Face-Off, where he represented the United States. The Senators captain took reps alongside Tim Stutzle and Claude Giroux on the first line at practice Friday.
