The FAA has prohibited flights from the United States to Haiti after a Spirit Airlines flight was damaged by gunfire while trying to land in Port-au-Prince on Monday.

Aircraft for Spirit Airlines, JetBlue, and American Airlines were all apparently hit by bullets while flying over Haiti’s capital Port-au-Prince this week, the carriers have said.
