The grocery store said this week that it will transition in-store restaurants across the midwest to its Hy-Vee Market Grille brand. Fans of the casual dining burger chain Wahlburgers will be disappointed to know that a majority of its locations will shutter within the next two weeks.

Zoom in: That includes nine restaurants that operate inside of Twin Cities stores. The move will leave the metro area with just one location — inside of Mall of America. The Wahlburgers will take over that restaurant, which Hy-Vee operates, according to Restaurant Business.

All of the grocer’s restaurants will introduce new menus with lower prices as the chain ends its partnership with the hamburger chain.

The restaurants will feature new menus, which Hy-Vee said will "offer a wider variety of choices" for customers "at an affordable price.”

Changes are coming to Hy-Vee grocery stores. On Monday, the Iowa-based supermarket chain announced it would transition all of its in-store restaurant locations to Hy-Vee Market Grille, ending the partnership with Wahlburgers.

After a star-studded rollout, Hy-Vee will convert all of the remaining Wahlburger restaurants in its stores to its own Market-Grille brand.
