The new Acer Swift 5, released in late 2019, is just over two pounds. It runs impressively well for such a thin machine, and sports a decent keyboard, touchpad, and webcam.

Acer says the Swift 5's battery lasts for up to 9.5 hours on the MobileMark 2018 benchmark and up to 14 hours during web browsing or video playback with the screen set to 50 percent brightness.

The previous version of Acer's Swift 5 was a letdown, but a late-2019 refresh has seemingly turned things around and set the lightest 14-inch laptop back on the right path.
