The Atlanta Falcons have conducted a virtual interview with Michigan defensive coordinator Wink Martindale as they began their search to replace Jimmy Lake, who was fired as defensive coordinator following the team’s 8-9 finish.

After spending one season in Ann Arbor with the Michigan football program, Wink Martindale is reportedly interviewing with the Atlanta Falcons.

According to reports from the NFL Network, the Atlanta Falcons have scheduled two interviews for their defensive coordinator vacancy. The team will interview Michigan defensive coordinator Wink Martindale on Tuesday, and former Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo this week.
