In January, during the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, 300 kilograms of 'prasad' from the Tirupati temple was distributed to devotees, confirmed Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of the temple.

Acharya Satyendra Das expressed anger over the incident stating, “If animal fat was mixed in the 'prasad', it is unforgivable. Strict action should be taken against those involved in it”

Chief priest of Ram Temple in Ayodhya Acharya Satyendra Das confirmed that 300 kilograms of 'prasad' from the Tirupati temple was distributed to devotees during the consecration ceremony of the grand temple in January.

The controversy began when Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu raised concerns based on a report from NDDB (National Dairy Development Board), which suggested that the ghee used at the temple was not pure.

This announcement comes in the midst of a growing controversy over allegations of animal fat contamination in the famous Tirupati laddoos, prompting calls for an investigation.
