Numerous stories shared since late 2024 have suggested that current Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson "never saw eye-to-eye" and "weren’t exactly the best of friends" as the Jets struggled through a 5-12 season with Rodgers in the lineup.

Hall himself has revealed that head coach Aaron Glenn made sure to do the same with more of a personal touch. During minicamp, Hall spoke about those trade rumors and mentioned that his new head coach went out of his way to call him and let him know that they simply are not true.
