Vuk Manufaktur has spent two years making the C63 S that Mercedes-AMG should have built. The standard plug-in hybrid powertrain may have more power, but it cannot match the V8’s sound. There’s no word on whether the Austrian company plans to sell V8 conversions to customers.

The latest Mercedes-AMG C63 has one of the most impressive engines in the world. It makes 234.5 horsepower per liter, a figure unmatched by any mass-production car on the market. It's half the size of the engine it replaced but had the same output.
