After some stops and starts, award season is again underway with the 2025 Critics Choice Awards. Acclaimed movies “Wicked” and “Conclave,” along with lauded TV series “Shōgun,” lead the pack of nominees.

Anora” won best picture at the Critics Choice Awards, while “Emilia Pérez,” “The Substance” and “Wicked” each took three trophies. See who else won.

Also winning three awards was “Emilia Pérez” (Netflix), for Supporting Actress Zoe Saldaña, who gave a teary speech, International Feature, and Song “El Mal.” All three could win on Oscar night, although “I’m Still Here” (Sony Pictures Classics), also nominated for Best Picture and Actress, is moving up fast.
