DETROIT -- Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal will be the American League’s starting pitcher in Tuesday’s MLB All-Star Game. Skubal will become the first Tigers pitcher to start the Midsummer Classic since Max Scherzer in 2013. Justin Verlander also started for the AL in 2012.
