Tens of thousands of protesters have rallied in Bangladesh’s capital to condemn Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip.

Bangladesh has been investigating allegations against Siddiq, who is a niece of former PM Sheikh Hasina, that she and her family members, illegally received land in a state-owned township project.

The former British minister Tulip Siddiq said on Monday an arrest warrant issued against her in Bangladesh over allegations she illegally received a plot of land are a "politically motivated smear".
