A '˜heritage hero' has been recognised with a national award for helping to raise more than £1.5 million to transform a derelict medieval barn into a top visitor attraction.

An artisan and producers’ market with a difference - held in the medieval gallery and beautiful grounds of Dronfield’s famous Hall Barn and at the Peel Centre – will return later this year.
