Week 18's Sunday night matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions could very well be the best in NFL regular season history, featuring two teams with 14–2 records — the most combined wins in a non-playoff game.

According to ESPN, the Vikings bought approximately 1,900 tickets near the visitors bench at Ford Field, at about $1,000 per ticket, adding up to nearly $2 million in total. The ticket total is in addition to the mandated quota of roughly 600 tickets that teams are given for road games.

The Minnesota Vikings bought around 1,900 tickets for the road game against the Detroit Lions tonight on the secondary market, at about $1,000 apiece, for a total approaching $2M and then sent an email to season ticket holders,
