Golden State Warriors fans will have to be a little more patient with Kristaps Porzingis. The Latvian big man was the Warriors’ major acquisition ahead of Thursday’s NBA trade deadline, but it will take time before he gets the chance to make his debut in Golden State threads.
Golden State sent out Jonathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield to the Hawks for the oft-injured Porzingis, who has played in at least 60 games only once in the past seven seasons, and has suited up only 17 times this season while dealing with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), other various injuries and illness.
