Plans for a new hostel in a former tourist office in the heart of Cork city have been appealed to An Bórd Pleanala.

He told CorkBeo: "The fire occurred at around 6pm in a bedroom in St. Vincent's Hostel, and Gardaí, the NAS and three units from Cork City Fire Brigade responded.
