On Monday, the Iowa-based supermarket chain announced it would transition all of its in-store restaurant locations to Hy-Vee Market Grille, ending the partnership with Wahlburgers.

Wahlburgers, founded in 2011, started coming en mass to Iowa as Hy-Vee converted Market Grille restaurants to the brand. The first Wahlburgers at Hy-Vee opened in 2018, and many more followed in 2020.
