A little less than once a week, on average, since President Donald Trump began his second term, his administration’s lawyers have filed emergency appeals with the Supreme Court.

The conservative-majority high court granted the Trump Administration’s request to put a hold on a district-court injunction.

Numerous universities, media companies, corporations, law firms and even some of the states have bent to Trump’s will. Only the judiciary has managed, at least in part, to serve as a restraint on this out-of-control presidency.
