Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the fourth-largest school district in the nation, has launched a contest to create a new logo and there's a pretty hefty cash prize for the winner.

There are words connected to the new logo: "Springfield Public Schools: Your Future. Our Focus." The "open door" logo replaces the "star-catcher" developed in the late 1990s.
