LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jamie Foxx is recalling the conversation he had about preparing his affairs just before suffering a near-death medical emergency in 2023. The actor, 57, suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke while working on his film ' Back in Action.' Foxx said the way he went out was not how he had imagined he would die.

Jamie Foxx praised his and ex Connie Kline's 31-year-old daughter Corinne Foxx for taking care of him while he was hospitalized for a brain bleed and stroke in 2023.

The star also told PEOPLE that his near-death experience was much different from how he expected he might die one day
