Over in Mexico, the Cutters plant has made John Deere lawn mowers and lawn mower components since its grand opening in 2009.

The John Deere Z370R Electric ZTrak Mower is powered by a 58V, 3.2 kWh lithium-ion battery that can be charged using a standard power outlet and grounded extension cord.

As more battery-powered home improvement products make their way to market, a John Deere executive predicted that battery-powered riding lawn mowers could be getting some serious attention.

The recalled John Deere mowers have serial numbers Z720E, Z730M, Z740R and Z760R. The recalled mowers have the model number and “John Deere” printed on the front of the mower below the seat.
