Pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly announced promising clinical trial results for a daily pill to treat obesity and diabetes, a considerable advantage over other GLP-1-based weight-loss drugs that have to be injected on a weekly basis.

Eli Lilly said on Wednesday it had sued four compounders for selling unapproved products containing tirzepatide, after a U.S. judge last month blocked pharmacies from making copies of its weight-loss and diabetes medicines.

Eli Lilly Wednesday filed lawsuits against four telehealth companies alleging they are deceiving consumers by selling compounds of slightly-different versions of Lilly drugs.
