Nearly as quick as a G63 AMG and more luxurious than a G550, the electric G-Wagen is a special SUV—but other new luxury EVs are better in so many ways.

Amazon has placed its largest-ever order of more than 200 battery-electric heavy goods vehicles – and has selected the flagship Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 from Mercedes-Benz Trucks. This is also the largest order for electric trucks in the history of the truck manufacturer.

Mercedes-Benz has secured an order from Amazon for over 200 eActros 600 electric trucks, marking its largest EV truck order to date. The vehicles will be deployed over 18 months on high-mileage routes in Germany and the UK for logistics operations.

Amazon said on Tuesday it has ordered 200 Mercedes-Benz fully-electric eActros 600 heavy goods vehicles from Daimler to serve the German and UK markets in its largest electric truck order so far.
