"It is worth repeating - Monday is likely to be a dangerous weather day," says the National Weather Service in the Twin Cities.

"A tornado outbreak with the potential for strong to intense tornadoes is possible on Monday," warns the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center (SPC) — and Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin are in the bullseye of where the tornadoes could occur.

The first round of storms is expected to hit Monday morning, followed by a break in the afternoon before severe weather returns.
