IPOH, Sept 16 (Bernama) -- Perak Ruler Sultan Nazrin Shah has given his consent for the state flag to be flown at half-mast as a sign of respect for Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, who died on Sept 8.

IPOH: The Perak flag is to be flown at half-mast for three days as a mark of respect for the late Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on Sept 8.

The Malaysian public has been cautioned against inciting racial sentiments about a cultural event where Chinese flags were publicly displayed in Perak state’s Teluk Intan or risk being investigated.
