Boise State star and NFL draft prospect Ashton Jeanty compared himself to Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley in The Players' Tribune.

Boise State running back and Heisman finalist Ashton Jeanty wrote an open letter to NFL general managers published in the Players' Tribune on Wednesday. Jeanty led that letter with a bold proclamation, noting that he can have the same impact for a team as running back Saquon Barkley just did for the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles could keep Dillon, Shipley and a rookie on the 53-man roster and have different roles for them. Dillon’s combination of size (6-foot, 247 pounds) and power has made him a good short-yardage back, and Shipley can do a little bit of everything. But the one skill that Dillon and Shipley both lack is elite speed.
