The national average gas price is expected to be $3.15 per gallon on Fourth of July — the cheapest since 2021, according to a new GasBuddy report.

Gas prices across the country — and right here in Virginia — are significantly lower than they were this time last year, potentially saving travelers hundreds of millions during the busy holiday weekend.
